Job Opportunity: Chef at The Light
We are The Light, providing a unique immersive experience that surprises and delights our guests across 14 locations in the UK. We offer a wide range of activities; cinema, bowling, karaoke, darts, mini golf, climbing walls, bars, and kitchens - we have it all!
We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dedicated and dynamic kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a section and working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced quick-service environment. They should be capable of producing high-quality, well-presented food while maintaining cleanliness standards and adhering to all kitchen policies, including health and safety regulations.

What we’re looking for:
- Experience working as a chef in a fast-paced kitchen
- Hands-on, sleeves-up attitude
- Confident running your own section during busy service
- A passion for well-presented, great-tasting food
- A strong team player who brings positivity and energy to every shift
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
What you’ll be doing:
- Prepping and cooking food to a high standard
- Keeping your section organised, clean, and running smoothly
- Supporting your team to make sure service runs like clockwork
- Maintaining high standards in food quality, presentation, and safety
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver a great experience for every guest
