Job Opportunity – Chefs (Commisionaire, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef) ⭐

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, located within the Mercure Bridgwater Hotel, is an award-winning establishment known for its passion for exceptional dining. Situated in the heart of Bridgwater, this contemporary four-star hotel offers preluxury accommodations (119 bedrooms), a lively restaurant, bar, conference and events space—ensuring no two days are ever the same.
As part of our expansion ahead of the bustling summer season, we are seeking chefs of all levels—from Commisionaire (Commis Chef) to Sous Chef, eager to contribute to and excel within the Marco Pierre White dining experience.
Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for passionate, dedicated chefs with:

Key Duties (Dependent on Experience Level)
- Commisionaire & Junior Chefs:
- Assist in preparation and plating of dishes under brand standards
- Contribute to maintaining efficient kitchen workflows
- Follow recipe guidelines and execute different cuisines with precision
- Chef de Partie:
- Take ownership of a specific station/section
- Ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery of dishes
- Assist with stock management and waste reduction
- Act as a mentor to new team members
- Sous Chef:
- Manage a section or sub-brigade to support the Head Chef
- Collaborate with senior leadership to enforce quality standards
- Coordinate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams for seamless service
- Work towards culinary innovation while maintaining the legacy of haute cuisine
