Who are we?

Seloxium Limited is a dynamic and diverse spin-out company from the University of Oxford. We are revolutionising clean growth and the circular economy within the mining & refining sectors by selectively recovering high-value metals from in-process or effluent water streams. Our multi-patented ‘selective flocculation' technology will change the way we mine, refine and process these metals, offering a greener and more sustainable solution to metallic resource recovery and reuse. It is reshaping the way valuable metals are recovered from industrial waste streams and other secondary resources, transforming environmental and process challenges into exciting opportunities for resource recovery.

We are a fast-paced company at an exciting stage of development, scaling our operations across two sites — an R&D laboratory and back office function in Oxford, and a pilot processing plant in the North East of England. As we grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic Chemical Engineer with a focus on Plant and Facilities engineering.

About the Role

As a Chemical Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, maintaining, and enhancing our pilot plant facilities that are central to our breakthrough platform technology. This hands-on and engaging role offers you the chance to work at the forefront of sustainable metal recovery technologies within an innovative and collaborative environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
