Chemical Waste Assessor - No Experience Needed

The Opportunity

Join us at Safetykleen as a Chemical Waste Assessor and start your career supporting our 19 UK & Ireland branches where your work will ensure hazardous waste is handled safely and responsibly, reducing environmental risk every day.

In this role, you’ll classify waste, produce technical assessment reports, and ensure full legislative compliance for safe handling, transport, and disposal. You’ll also support branch teams with technical queries, data, and reporting to keep operations running smoothly.

You’ll have full training for this role and hands-on experience. So if you’re a graduate looking for an opportunity to learn and build a long-term career in sustainability and environmental compliance, then this is the role for you.

Responsibilities Of Chemical Waste Assessor

  • Follow Government guidelines on hazardous waste removal, transportation, and disposal.
  • Raising Technical Assessment Reports.
  • Keeping up with KPI’s for fast turnaround.
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Taking calls from internal stakeholders to assist with technical queries.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Someone with a background in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or similar.
  • Hazardous waste knowledge is advantageous.
  • Has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work.
