Chemistry Expert (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your years of chemistry training could directly shape how AI reasons through some of the most complex scientific problems in the world? We're looking for Chemistry experts — Masters and PhD holders — to design, solve, and evaluate advanced chemistry problems that teach AI to think like a scientist.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for domain experts who want to do meaningful, intellectually stimulating work on their own schedule. No prior AI experience needed — just deep chemistry knowledge and a commitment to scientific rigor.

Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design and solve advanced chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, and computational chemistry
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated chemistry content for scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
  • Develop complex, real-world problem statements that challenge and improve AI reasoning
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts
  • Ensure every deliverable meets a high standard of scientific rigor and precision
  • Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
