About the Role: Lecturer in Chemistry
As a Chemistry Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching of BTEC Chemistry (Levels 1–3) in line with Pearson standards
- Support students through academic, pastoral, and career development guidance
- Contribute to curriculum development and learning resources
- Inspire learners to achieve their full potential, ensuring progression in education or their chosen career
This role is part-time (0.4 FTE, 2 days per week) and fixed-term until 9th July 2027.

About You
We’re seeking a motivated professional with:
- Proven experience in Chemistry education
- Strong knowledge of BTEC Chemistry (Levels 1–3)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Experience with inclusive, learner-focused teaching
- A recognised teaching qualification (or experience/support to gain one)
- Confidence working with diverse learners
Registered DBS check required for safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults.
