About the Role: Lecturer in Chemistry
Capital City College, one of the UK’s largest Further Education colleges, is seeking a passionate and skilled Chemistry Lecturer to join our dynamic London-based team.
Role: Full-time, fixed-term (until 19th December 2026)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality teaching of BTEC Chemistry (Levels 1–3) under Pearson’s standards.
- Contributing to curriculum development and thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Providing academic and pastoral support to students, fostering personal and professional growth.
- Inspiring and empowering the next generation with expertise, real-world experience, and dedication.
- Supporting students to achieve their educational and career goals.

About You: Required Skills & Qualifications
We’re looking for a dedicated Chemistry educator with:
- Proven experience in teaching Chemistry (at further education levels or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of BTEC Chemistry (Levels 1–3), including assessment practices.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging diverse learners.
- Effective classroom management and a commitment to inclusive, equitable practice.
- Teaching qualification (or a commitment to gaining one through an Institute of Teaching programme).
- Real-world practical expertise—prioritising applied learning and skill development to prepare students for workplace success.
