Chemistry Masters – AI Data Trainer

About the Role

We're looking for chemistry experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems being trained on advanced scientific content. Your subject-matter expertise will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex chemistry problems — making a real impact on the future of scientific AI.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.

Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week


What You'll Do

  • Design advanced chemistry problems to rigorously test AI performance across topics like chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry
  • Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, well-structured reasoning
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy and quality of reasoning
  • Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry
  • Provide structured, actionable feedback that directly improves AI model performance

Who You Are

Core Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely in writing
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a systematic approach to evaluating quality and correctness
  • Self-motivated, comfortable working independently and asynchronously
  • No prior AI experience required
