Chemistry Masters – AI Data Trainer
About The Role
We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and improve the next generation of AI models. Your advanced scientific knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and solves complex chemistry problems, from undergraduate fundamentals to graduate-level concepts.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside world-leading AI research teams. No prior AI experience required — just strong chemistry knowledge and clear analytical thinking.
Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing advanced chemistry problems to rigorously test AI performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
- Developing clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, logical reasoning
- Evaluating AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
- Collaborating with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Masters-level chemistry topics
- Providing structured written feedback to help continuously improve AI model performance

Who You Are
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
- Ability to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and concisely in writing
- Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and rigorous reasoning
- Self-motivated, comfortable working independently and asynchronously
