Chemistry Specialist (Masters/PhDs) - AI Training

About The Role

What if your years of chemistry expertise could directly shape how AI reasons through the most complex scientific problems in the world? We're looking for Chemistry Specialists with advanced degrees to design, solve, and evaluate graduate-level chemistry problems that train cutting-edge AI models to think like a scientist.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working researchers, postdocs, and chemistry professionals who want to put their deep domain knowledge to meaningful use — on their own schedule.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design and solve complex, real-world chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, and computational chemistry
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, rigor, and depth
  • Develop richly detailed problem statements that challenge AI models at a graduate level
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen model performance
  • Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific clarity and correctness
  • Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
