Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and evaluate the next generation of AI models. Your scientific knowledge will directly shape how AI reasons through complex chemistry problems — from undergraduate fundamentals to advanced graduate-level topics.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design rigorous, advanced chemistry problems to test AI reasoning and performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with sound scientific logic
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI model performance

Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly in writing
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluation
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI experience required

- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic research
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
