Job Description

Have you recently completed your school or college education, or due to finish your studies soon? You may have thought about starting work straight away - or even considered continuing your studies, allowing you to gain further qualifications.

Leaving school and entering the world of work can be both exciting and worrying at the same time. Parenta helps hundreds of young people make this transition every year with work-based childcare apprenticeships.

With a childcare apprenticeship from Parenta, you’ll be able to leave school and ‘earn as you learn’ - getting paid to work in a nursery, pre-school or childminding setting whilst gaining a recognised qualification – you don’t even need any experience! The best part? There are no classes to attend! The moment your journey begins as an apprentice, you start getting paid an hourly rate and become a fully-fledged member of staff!

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
