Depot Supervisor
Location: Crawley Hours: 45 hours per week Salary: Highly competitive (dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience) + company van & excellent benefits

About The Role
As a Depot Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating traffic management operations at our Watford depot. You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of all projects, while leading and supporting operational teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining operational planning, team management, and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day Traffic Management operations
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands
- Supervise on-site teams and ensure high safety and quality standards
- Promote and embed Chevron’s strong safety culture
- Prepare detailed job packs (including risk assessments and traffic plans)
- Conduct site safety audits and ensure compliance with regulations
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
- Manage equipment, vehicles, and depot resources
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and productivity improvements
- Investigate incidents, manage compliance, and uphold company standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Traffic Management or highways
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong understanding of operational delivery and safety compliance
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office and business systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Full UK driving licence (HGV required)

- Experience using Traffic Management design software (CAD)
- Formal business or commercial qualifications
