Depot Supervisor

Location: Crawley Hours: 45 hours per week Salary: Highly competitive (dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience) + company van & excellent benefits

About The Role

As a Depot Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating traffic management operations at our Watford depot. You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of all projects, while leading and supporting operational teams.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining operational planning, team management, and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day Traffic Management operations
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands
  • Supervise on-site teams and ensure high safety and quality standards
  • Promote and embed Chevron’s strong safety culture
  • Prepare detailed job packs (including risk assessments and traffic plans)
  • Conduct site safety audits and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
  • Manage equipment, vehicles, and depot resources
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and productivity improvements
  • Investigate incidents, manage compliance, and uphold company standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Traffic Management or highways
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of operational delivery and safety compliance
  • Commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV required)
