Chief Brand & Experience Officer

A rare executive mandate at the intersection of luxury, culture, design, hospitality and community.

Location: London · principally on site
Appointment: Permanent · Executive leadership team

This is not a conventional marketing appointment or a traditional hospitality operations role. It is an opportunity to become the creative and experiential authority behind an ambitious London luxury destination — and to author what it becomes next.

THE APPOINTMENT

Luxury Executive is conducting a confidential search for a Chief Brand & Experience Officer on behalf of an ambitious luxury lifestyle and hospitality business in London.

The business has completed its opening chapter and is entering a defining period of development. The successful executive will shape its identity, cultural relevance and complete end-to-end experience: how the destination looks, sounds and feels; the moments it creates; the stories it tells; and the standards through which its people bring the vision to life.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, with direct access to ownership, this is a genuine executive seat with influence across brand, creative direction, programming, partnerships, communications, physical environment, service and organisational culture.

THE MANDATE

  • Define and own a distinctive long-term brand and experience strategy, establishing the creative principles that guide the business and its future direction.
  • Create a cultural and experiential agenda with genuine relevance — combining programming, events, collaborations and moments that generate loyalty, conversation and demand.
  • Lead the creative expression of the brand across interiors, styling, seasonal installations, uniforms, wayfinding, collateral and the wider sensory environment.
  • Author clear brand and experience standards covering visual identity, tone of voice, service philosophy, behaviours and creative direction.
  • Shape the organisation's narrative with marketing, communications and PR, ensuring that campaigns, editorial content, partnerships and public expression share one coherent point of view.
  • Translate brand values into service rituals and operating behaviours, working with operational and people leaders so the experience is delivered consistently without relying on one individual.
  • Build, lead and influence multidisciplinary teams, partners and creative talent while maintaining exacting standards, pace and commercial judgement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

THE PERSON

We are looking for an unusually complete executive: someone with exceptional taste and cultural intelligence, but also the organisational authority to turn creative vision into a repeatable institution.

You may currently be a Chief Brand Officer, Chief Experience Officer, Chief Creative Officer, senior CMO, Global Brand Director, Brand & Experience Director, Cultural Programming Director or senior leader within a world-class experiential business.

Your background may come from luxury fashion, premium hospitality, private-client environments, editorial or media, art and culture, design-led property, auctions, entertainment or a leading experiential agency. Traditional hospitality experience is not essential.

You will have a body of work demonstrating brand creation, cultural programming, creative direction, immersive experiences or events delivered at an exceptional international standard.

You understand sophisticated and globally mobile audiences and can create relevance without chasing fashion or compromising discretion.

You have led teams, budgets and cross-functional programmes, and can move confidently between an abstract creative proposition and the detail required to deliver it.

You are credible with founders and boards: intellectually curious, commercially aware, secure in your judgement and capable of challenging constructively.

You are based in London or able to operate from London, with the presence and commitment required for a highly physical, experience-led business.

WHY CONSIDER IT

Few roles offer this combination of direct founder access, executive authority, physical canvas and cultural ambition. The successful candidate will not inherit a finished formula and protect it. They will define the next chapter — and create an experience capable of becoming a reference point in its category.

The package is set at a genuine executive level and will be discussed individually with qualified candidates.

APPLICATION AND CONFIDENTIALITY

The search is being led exclusively by Luxury Executive during its initial market phase. Applications and conversations will be handled in strict confidence. The client's identity and further details will be shared with suitably qualified candidates following an initial discussion and confirmation of confidentiality.

Please apply through LinkedIn with a current CV and a short note outlining two examples that best demonstrate your ability to create a distinctive brand, cultural or physical experience. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Direct confidential enquiries: info@luxuryexecutive.com.

Luxury Executive and its client welcome interest from qualified candidates of all backgrounds. Assessment will be based on the requirements of the appointment, relevant evidence and the ability to perform the role.
