About the Role

The Chief Clinical Information Officer (Nursing & Allied Healthcare Professionals - AHP) will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions for modern healthcare. This is a high-visibility leadership role at the heart of digital transformation, working across clinical, operational, and senior teams to optimise digital systems ensuring they align with national policy, patient safety, and The Christie’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in clinical digital design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Oversee development, adoption, and continuous improvement of digital systems across The Christie.
  • Ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality patient-centered digital applications.
  • Lead a clinical digital transformation team, including clinical and digital nurses and allied professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing leadership, operational teams, and digital services to support improved patient outcomes and clinical practice.
  • Drive compliance with regulatory, national policy, and safety standards in digital healthcare.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in digital research tools and supportive healthcare platforms.
