Help Define the Future of Water Infrastructure
Water scarcity is becoming one of the defining challenges of the coming decades.
At Ahbstra, we're building technology designed to change how water is produced, distributed and accessed around the world.
Over the last six years, we've developed proprietary atmospheric water generation technology using Nobel winning Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs), enabling water to be generated directly from air. Having successfully developed and tested our technology, we're now entering the next phase of our journey – moving from R&D and product development into commercialisation.
We're looking for our first Chief Commercial Officer to help shape what happens next.
This Is Not A Traditional CCO Role
We're not looking for someone to inherit a sales team, optimise a funnel or deliver quarterly revenue targets.
We're looking for someone who wants to help define a market.
Someone who is excited by questions such as:
- Which markets should prioritise?
- What commercial models will work best?
- Which partnerships will accelerate adoption?
- What does product-market fit look like in an entirely new category?
- How do we turn breakthrough technology into a scalable global business?

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For

More important than any specific sector background is your ability to operate in ambiguity, make informed decisions with incomplete information and help shape a business that is still defining its path to scale.
