About Us
We are building SaveGoodFood, a delivery-first platform that rescues surplus food from restaurants, supermarkets, and other food businesses, redistributing it to consumers and charities in real time.
Our mission is to reduce food waste, improve access to affordable food, and create measurable environmental and social impact through technology.
The platform is now live, and we are preparing for commercial launch, merchant onboarding, and fundraising. We are supported through programmes including Barclays Eagle Labs and Sustainable Ventures’ National Climate Tech Accelerator (NCTA).
We are a growing volunteer-led startup team across engineering, product, finance, operations, legal, and business development.
About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded and entrepreneurial Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to help lead the next phase of growth for SaveGoodFood.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on:
- Commercial growth
- Revenue strategy
- Merchant acquisition
- Strategic partnerships
- Go-to-market execution
- Scaling the commercial function
You will work directly with the Founder & CEO to help shape the commercial direction of the business as we move from MVP into early traction and fundraising.
This is not a corporate maintenance role — this is a build-from-zero opportunity for someone excited by startups, ambiguity, ownership, and impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
