Chief Compliance Officer | London

We are delighted to partner with an established, internationally operating financial services business within the Fund Distribution space, with London as one of its key markets.

As a regulated UK entity supervised by both the FCA and the PRA, our client offers a varied and intellectually stimulating compliance landscape spanning regulatory compliance, financial crime, AML, governance, conduct risk, client assets, outsourcing, and operational resilience.

This is a rare opportunity to lead the UK Compliance and AML function, partnering closely with senior management and Group stakeholders while playing a key role in maintaining a robust regulatory framework and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the UK Compliance and AML function as the second line of defence, ensuring the business operates in line with UK regulation alongside Group policies and procedures
  • Identifying and assessing compliance risks, providing clear advice and guidance to UK management and staff
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining UK Compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with both Group standards and UK regulatory requirements
  • Leading the UK Compliance Monitoring Programme, ensuring all applicable regulatory obligations are covered, second line monitoring is completed, and action plans are implemented where required
  • Reporting monitoring outcomes to UK management and the Group Compliance function
  • Acting as the central point for compliance matters across the UK business, providing analysis, oversight, and follow-up on regulatory issues
  • Overseeing client due diligence, AML transaction monitoring, and the Money Laundering Risk Assessment
  • Providing trusted compliance and regulatory advice to senior management
  • Developing and delivering compliance and AML training, promoting a strong culture of compliance across the business
  • Acting as the primary liaison with UK regulatory authorities, including the FCA and PRA where appropriate

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
