THE WHY
Vivobarefoot exists to reconnect people with nature through regenerative business, natural movement and barefoot footwear. We are the world’s leading barefoot footwear brand and are evolving from a footwear company into a broader movement focused on natural health, human potential and regenerative living.
Over 70% of Vivobarefoot’s revenue is generated through digital channels. We believe digital is no longer a support function it is a core commercial engine and strategic capability. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking an exceptional Chief Digital Officer to lead the commercial, digital and technology architecture of the business globally.
Sitting on the Executive Team, the CDO will be accountable for building the technology, data, customer and ecommerce capabilities required to scale Vivobarefoot globally creating a world-class digital operating system that enables regional teams to execute while maintaining global standards, performance and scalability.

WHERE YOU’LL PLAY
The CDO will own and integrate:
- Digital Commerce
- Own the global ecommerce strategy and roadmap.
- Drive online revenue growth, conversion, retention and profitability.
- Establish and lead the Ecommerce Centre of Excellence.
- Develop global best practices across acquisition, merchandising, CRO and customer journeys.
- Partner with regional GMs to maximise regional digital performance.
- Customer Experience & CRM
- Work closely with our Customer Journey Director to drive end-to-end customer experience across all digital touchpoints
- Technology & Platforms
- Lead technology strategy and architecture.
- Own ecommerce platforms, CRM systems, data infrastructure and digital product development.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, security and operational excellence.
- Drive ERP, platform and systems integration initiatives.
- Data, AI & Transformation
- Develop Vivobarefoot’s AI and digital transformation agenda.
- Build a culture of data-led decision making.
- Create clear measurement frameworks and commercial dashboards.
- Leadership
- Lead and develop teams across Ecommerce, CRM, CX, Technology, Data & Analytics and Digital Product.
- Build a high-performance culture balancing innovation with commercial rigour.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Team.

We are looking for a rare combination of commercial leader, technology leader, customer obsessive, builder and strategic thinker. Someone who can move seamlessly between board-level strategy and operational execution, and who is deeply aligned with Vivobarefoot’s purpose and regenerative worldview.

- Executive-level leadership experience in a global consumer, retail, DTC or digitally native business.
- Significant ownership of ecommerce revenues exceeding £50m+.
- Proven success leading digital transformation programmes.
- Strong technology, CRM and customer experience credentials.
- Experience implementing AI and data-led commercial initiatives.
- Track record of leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
