Chief Executive Officer – Confectionery & Bakery

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially astute Chief Executive Officer to lead a growing confectionery business through its next phase of strategic expansion. We are seeking an inspirational leader with a proven track record of driving business growth, developing high-performing teams, and expanding brands across international markets, including the UK, Italy, and the United States.
This role requires a visionary executive who can combine operational excellence with strong commercial leadership, accelerating growth, strengthening market position, and delivering sustainable long-term value.
The Role
- Develop and execute a bold growth strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and market share within the confectionery sector.
- Lead the continued expansion of the business across the UK while identifying and capitalising on opportunities in key international markets, particularly Italy and the USA.
- Build strong customer, retail, distribution, and manufacturing partnerships to support ambitious growth objectives.
- Drive product innovation, brand development, and category leadership within premium and mainstream confectionery channels.
- Create a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and commercial success.
- Strengthen operational capability, supply chain resilience, and manufacturing performance to support future growth.
- Identify new routes to market, strategic partnerships, acquisition opportunities, and investment prospects.
- Ensure the business is well-positioned for long-term value creation through exceptional commercial and financial performance.

About You
- Proven CEO, Managing Director, or Executive-level leadership experience within confectionery, food manufacturing, FMCG, or consumer goods.
- Demonstrable success in growing businesses domestically and internationally, with exposure to UK, European and North American markets.
- Strong understanding of commercial strategy, brand development, category growth, and customer engagement.
- Experience leading businesses through significant periods of transformation, expansion, acquisition, or investment.
- A track record of developing talented teams and creating cultures that deliver outstanding results.
- Highly entrepreneurial with the ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building confidence with investors, customers, suppliers, and employees alike.
