Role Summary
The CFA Institute seeks a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to:
- Steward the CFA charter’s legacy while diversifying learning products to stay competitive in a tech/AI-disrupted landscape
- Streallenge long-term growth by expanding membership and the global portfolio—balancing incremental evolution with bold innovation
- Secure the organization’s transformation by unifying leadership, aligning resources across finance, operations, technology, and people, and elevating stakeholder alliances.
Base Location Options: Charlottesville, New York, or London

Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Align Strategy: Define a unified vision with the Board, ensuring sustainability and distinctiveness in a global market.
- Brand & Program Support: Raise visibility and uphold currency for the CFA charter worldwide.
- Portfolio Diversification: Expand high-impact learning offerings, prioritizing skills-based, employer-relevant upskilling programs.
- Tech & Industry Foresight: Anticipate shifts from AI/technology, translating insights into revitalized products and modernized client propositions.
- Tailored Delivery: Adapt offerings for global/local market relevance while maintaining ethical benchmarks.
