Role Overview

The CEO of PayAlly Limited will have overall responsibility for the governance, regulatory oversight and effective management of the UK regulated entity, ensuring it operates in full compliance with FCA requirements and applicable legislation while supporting the strategic objectives of PAYALLY GLOBAL.

As the FCA-approved executive responsible for PayAlly Limited, the CEO will act as the principal representative of the company in the UK, maintaining strong relationships with the Financial Conduct Authority, banking partners, payment schemes, institutional clients and other key stakeholders. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and the wider PAYALLY GLOBAL Group to ensure the UK entity operates in accordance with the Group's governance framework, regulatory obligations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Governance

  • Maintain full compliance with FCA requirements and all applicable regulatory obligations.
  • Act as the principal point of engagement with regulators and oversee regulatory interactions, audits and inspections.
  • Ensure robust governance, risk management and internal control frameworks are maintained.
  • Work closely with Compliance and other departments to ensure effective oversight across the business.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the principal representative of PayAlly Limited with regulators, banking partners, payment schemes, institutional clients and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at regulatory meetings, industry forums and relevant external events.
  • Support Group commercial initiatives and new business opportunities within the UK market where required.
  • Promote and protect the reputation of PayAlly Limited within the UK financial services sector.

Business Oversight

  • Maintain executive oversight of PayAlly Limited's activities, ensuring services delivered are appropriately governed and meet applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Group operational, finance and technology teams to ensure effective delivery of services supporting the UK business.
  • Monitor business performance through appropriate KPIs, governance reporting and management information.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between PayAlly Limited and the wider Group.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to the Board of Directors on regulatory, governance and business matters.

Candidate Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrable senior executive experience within payments, fintech, banking, electronic money or financial services (must be FCA-regulated financial services business).
  • Strong understanding of UK payments, foreign exchange, card services and electronic money.
  • Experience engaging with the FCA and other regulatory authorities.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and business performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification. An MBA or relevant financial qualification is advantageous.
