NIFDA (Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association) is a voluntary organisation dedicated to supporting food and drink companies across Northern Ireland.
NIFDA’s role is to enter into partnership with existing providers, associations, government and companies to assist in promoting the competitiveness of the industry. We aim to promote ‘One Voice’ across the industry on matters including:
- Exporting
- Food and Drink Sector Strategy
- Regulation
- Sector Attractiveness and Skills Development
- Technology and Innovation
- Marketing and Promotion
- Research and Development

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a full-time role based in Belfast.
The purpose is to serve the vision of promoting sustainable growth within the Northern Ireland food and drink industry. The Chief Executive will act as the primary voice for members, ensuring their interests are represented with government and key stakeholders, and that NIFDA is recognised as the authoritative industry body.
