As Chief Financial Officer, you will serve as a strategic partner to the founders, shaping commercial strategy and capital allocation. This ExCo role oversees treasury, data insights, and investor relations during a period of rapid acceleration. You will drive rigorous financial thinking to transform Chip into a category-defining generational wealth business.

- Partner with the CEO and founders on commercial strategy, end-to-end financial modeling, and scenario planning to optimize unit economics and cohort LTV.
- Own the treasury function managing billions in customer money, ensuring full CASS compliance and managing NIM dynamics and bank counterparty relationships.
- Lead the Data Insight team to translate complex customer behavior and product pricing data into actionable commercial decisions and forward-looking revenue models.
The ideal candidate
- Proven experience as a CFO or FD in a VC-backed consumer fintech or retail investment platform with deep expertise in unit economics like CAC and LTV.
- Strong background in FCA-regulated environments, capable of holding an SMF designation and managing CASS-compliant client money or custody functions.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a heavy lean toward FP&A and forward-looking commercial leadership rather than purely historic statutory reporting.
