Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Private Equity-Backed Consumer Business
Package: Circa £200,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) + Executive Benefits
About the Role
Tri Talented Resourcing is delighted to partner with a high-growth, Private Equity-backed consumer business, seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join at a pivotal phase of transformation, international expansion and strategic scaling.
This is a rare opportunity to partner with the CEO, Board and investors to drive performance, scalability and long-term value creation in a commercially ambitious organisation backed by significant investment and an experienced leadership team.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must have built their career within Consumer-facing businesses. Applications from candidates without relevant experience will not be considered.

The Opportunity
Reporting Lines & Strategic Impact
- Reporting directly to the CEO
- Working closely with Private Equity investors to support long-term strategy
- Beyond traditional finance, the CFO will architect the company’s next phase of growth, shaping commercial strategy, acquisitions, international expansion and future value Realisation events

Early Travel Commitment
- Expected 30-50% international travel to support global integration projects and operational initiatives across multiple territories
- Travel requirements will gradually decrease as integration programmes mature
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and Executive Team to deliver strategic growth objectives
- Lead financial planning, analysis, forecasting and performance management
- Build relationships with Board, lenders and Private Equity investors
- Drive data-informed commercial decisions with high-quality financial insights
- Lead international integration programmes across multiple markets
- Support acquisition activity, including diligence, integration and synergy delivery
- Develop scalable financial systems, reporting frameworks and governance
- Lead treasury, cash management and funding strategy
- Build, develop and inspire a high-performing international finance team
- Establish robust financial controls and risk management frameworks
- Oversee preparations for future exit opportunities
The Person
We are seeking a strategic finance leader who balances operational excellence with entrepreneurial vision.
Requirements
✅ Proven CFO/Finance Director/Divisional CFO experience in a consumer business ✅ Strong background in a consumer-facing role, with either PE ownership or iterative transformation ✅ Significant international exposure, with experience leading cross-border operations ✅ Exceptional commercial acumen and influence over executive stakeholders ✅ Experience in organisational growth, change and integration programmes ✅ Outstanding leadership skills to inspire high-performing teams ✅ Hands-on strategic mindset, balancing detailed operational oversight with higher-level strategy ✅ Professional accounting qualification, e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
