We are delighted to be working with a renowned education business in North Somerset (T/O £30m) to recruit its next Chief Financial Officer. This is an incredibly exciting time to join, during a period of change that requires strong financial leadership to inform and shape the organisation's long-term growth agenda.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead the finance function, ensuring the organisation's financial integrity through enhanced business planning, forecasting, financial control, and reporting. You will provide day-to-day line management for the finance department, with a keen focus on capital expenditure, risk management and compliance, and the analysis of key management information to shape and inform performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function
- Ensure financial integrity through enhanced business planning, forecasting, financial control, and reporting
- Provide day-to-day line management for the finance department
- Focus on capital expenditure, risk management and compliance
- Analyse key management information to shape and inform performance
Required Skills and Experience:
- A qualified, commercially orientated finance professional
- A wealth of strategic experience, ideally gained within a highly complex customer-centric environment
- Strong technical expertise
- Excellent analytical and planning skills
- Fully conversant with complex revenue streams and capital investment initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- The capacity to engage at all levels across and beyond the organisation
