Role Overview

Fresha is searching for a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to shape our financial strategy, drive global expansion, and support our dynamic, fast-growing enterprise.

This role is perfect for an ambitious leader who thrives in high-energy environments, excels in complex challenges, and wants to make a lasting impact.


Key Accountabilities

Strategic & Financial Leadership

  • Develop and execute Fresha’s financial strategy, aligned with growth objectives
  • Set financial goals, KPIs, and robust financial planning processes
  • Oversee accurate, timely financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and governance requirements
  • Lead financial compliance through audits and regulatory reviews
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks via internal controls

Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Manage investor relations, including fundraising, capital structuring, and communications
  • Engage financial institutions and external stakeholders, maintaining strong partnerships

Operations & Innovation

  • Oversee cash flow, liquidity management, and working capital optimisation
  • Implement cash flow forecasting tools and treasury strategies
  • Drive adoption of financial technology and automation
  • Optimise the finance function through continuous improvement

M&A & Growth Expansion

  • Evaluate M&A opportunities, including modelling, valuation, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration
  • Monitor performance against budgets and implement corrective actions

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global finance team
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability

Executive Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations for all key decisions

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Required Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/ACA/ACCA certification strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in finance or accounting, with 5 years in leadership roles
  • Proven track record in high-growth tech, fintech, marketplaces, or SaaS organisations (highly desirable)

Technical & Strategic Skills

  • Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), reporting, forecasting, and accounting standards
  • Strong command of SaaS metrics, unit economics, and performance drivers
  • Ability to design financial strategies that support scaling and expansion
  • Exceptional M&A experience, including valuation, due diligence, deal modelling, integration planning

Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience building and growing high-performing teams
  • Proven investor relations experience, including fundraising and stakeholder management
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills, able to derive insights from complex data

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and presentation skills for executive-level discussions
  • Demonstrated case decision-making, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments (adaptability, resilience)
  • Integrity, ethical judgement, and commitment to transparency and governance
