Henderson Brown has been exclusively retained to appoint a Chief Marketing Officer for a highly recognised and well-established branded FMCG business.

This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation at a pivotal moment in its journey. With a strong heritage, significant market presence, and ambitious growth plans, the business is seeking a commercially driven and innovative marketing leader capable of accelerating growth, strengthening brand equity, and leading the next phase of evolution.

Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the successful candidate will play a critical role in defining the future direction of the brand and wider business.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for developing and executing a world-class marketing strategy that delivers sustainable growth across multiple channels and consumer touchpoints.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and delivering the long-term brand and marketing strategy.
  • Driving consumer engagement, brand awareness, and market share growth.
  • Leading innovation pipelines and new product development initiatives.
  • Creating integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, experiential, and out-of-home channels.
  • Utilising consumer insight, data, and analytics to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Building and developing a high-performing marketing function.
  • Working closely with Commercial, Innovation, Product Development, and Operations teams to deliver growth objectives.
  • Representing marketing at Executive and Board level.

  • Previous experience as a Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Director, or equivalent senior marketing leadership position.
  • Strong branded FMCG experience.
  • A track record of building brands and delivering measurable commercial growth.
  • Experience leading significant marketing budgets and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Strong strategic capability combined with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • The ability to inspire teams, challenge convention, and drive innovation.
