What you’ll do:

We are looking for a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our executive team and lead our effort to become the market-leading Financial Fitness companion. You will be focused on driving our target market customers to adopt and use our products to improve their financial health and share our benefits with their family, friends and colleagues, creating greater usage of our personal loans, credit cards and mobile app.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and define the marketing function at a pivotal stage of our business.

Role Overview

As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will be responsible for building and executing a customer-centric marketing strategy that drives growth across all areas of the business. You will develop and market new products, ensuring they meet the needs of our diverse customer base.

You will leverage customer segmentation, data insights, and ongoing testing to continuously refine marketing efforts and optimise customer acquisition and retention strategies.

We want to create an engaged, enthusiastic and loyal customer base who make us their first choice when making purchases and payments and a brand they are proud to recommend and share!

This role is a role which is subject to certification by us under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR).

Key responsibilities and objectives:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy, focusing on delivering a measurable impact on revenue growth and brand positioning.
  • Build, manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team to drive excellence and innovation.

Customer Understanding & Segmentation:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers through segmentation and data analysis, ensuring that marketing efforts are tailored to meet their needs and expectations.
  • Establish a voice of the customer capability; using feedback, reviews and complaints insight to shape proposition, messaging, product development and customer management and retention strategy.
  • Track competitors and adjacent FinTech and Near Prime markets in the UK, EU and USA, bringing trends and growth opportunities to the leadership team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
