Chief Medical Officer

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) – Sirona Care & Health

The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is accountable for providing strategic leadership on the development and delivery of high-quality clinical pathways and models of care.

This will involve:

  • Extensive collaborative working with the wider Clinical Executive, including the Chief Nursing and Allied Health Officer and Chief Operating Officer
  • Chairing the Professional Council and leading on professional standards and medical workforce governance

About the Role

Our new CMO will also play a central role in shaping Sirona’s overall medical strategy, working closely with:

  • Voluntary, community, and third-sector organisations, supporting the shift towards preventative and proactive medicine
  • External partners, helping maintain strong, trusted alliances to secure research opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive organisational strategy in alignment with Sirona’s vision
  • Build credible, collaborative relationships with clinicians, partners, and stakeholders
  • Create and oversee a robust business plan with clear financial and governance frameworks
  • Ensure a strong culture of risk management, ethical leadership, and healthcare delivery excellence
