About the Role
ARTO are currently partnering with an innovative, research-driven biopharmaceutical organisation to appoint a Chief Medical Officer, to lead all research activities from Translational Medicine through to large phase III clinical trials and submissions.
This is a rare executive opportunity for an accomplished clinical development leader to help shape scientific strategy and advance a differentiated pipeline within Women's Health.
We're Looking For
- Significant clinical development leadership experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Expertise in early clinical development and regulatory strategy.
- A strong scientific background with the ability to influence portfolio and pipeline decisions.
- Experience leading high-performing, cross-functional global teams.
- Previous exposure to Women's Health, or closely aligned therapeutic areas, is highly desirable.

Key Qualifications
- MD (or equivalent medical degree) with extensive experience in clinical drug development.
- Approximately 15–20 years' progressive experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of leading clinical development programmes end-to-end, from early development through regulatory submission and execution.
- Strong scientific leadership with the ability to influence clinical strategy, innovation, and pipeline development.
