Chief of Staff
Permanent | Central London | 4 days/week on-site
Business
This is a PE-backed hospitality group with presence across the UK. The business is mid-way through a financial turnaround, with active work underway on technology, commercial strategy and the operating model. It runs lean at the centre, has opened a HQ in Central London, and is exploring M&A that could increase its scale.
The Role
This is the CEO's right hand; a trusted, high-exposure role sitting at the very centre of the business. The Chief of Staff bridges the CEO, ExCo and PE shareholder, turning priorities into coordinated action across the group. They attend board and executive meetings, (though the role isn't a formal ExCo seat) and report directly to the CEO.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
