Ocean Infinity is seeking a Chief of Staff to the President of Data Services, to act as a strategic partner enabling the effectiveness, focus, and impact of the function by connecting strategy to execution. It translates business priorities into actionable plans, facilitates alignment across leaders and teams, ensures effective communication and engagement, oversees functional OKRs, and drives clarity, accountability, and operational excellence.
Success in this role requires exceptional judgement, great stakeholder management and communication skills, the ability to see the big picture, and the capability to turn complexity into structured execution. It develops analysis, recommendations, and proposed actions to enable high-quality decisions that require senior level insight, shaping outcomes through structured thinking and effective stakeholder alignment.
Strategic, organisational, and people related decisions remain firmly with the President of Data Services; however, this role serves as the right-hand person, that ensures the necessary preparation, context, and follow through to support those decisions and their effective execution.
What will you do:
- Strategic Alignment & Business Priority Delivery
- Support the President in shaping and translating Data Services strategic priorities into clear workstreams, milestones, and deliverables.
- Maintain an overview of all ongoing initiatives, identifying interdependencies, risks, and opportunities for alignment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
