About Nscale

Nscale is the GPU cloud engineered for AI. We provide cost-effective, high-performance infrastructure for AI start-ups and large enterprise customers. Nscale enables AI-focused companies to achieve superior results by reducing the complexity of AI development. Our GPU cloud bolsters technical capabilities and directly supports strategic business outcomes, including cost management, rapid innovation, and environmental responsibility.

We thrive on a culture of relentless innovation, ownership, and accountability, where every team member takes pride in their work and drives it with excellence and urgency. As an Nscaler, you’ll build trust through openness and transparency, where everyone is inspired to do their best work.

About The Role

We are hiring a Chief of Staff, Legal to serve as a strategic partner and force multiplier to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and the Legal leadership team at Nscale. This is a highly visible role focused on driving alignment, operational rigour, and execution against the Legal function’s most critical priorities, as well as ensuring Legal is tightly integrated into the company’s operating rhythm.

You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution: shaping leadership agendas, driving cross-functional initiatives (with Finance, People, Product, Engineering, GTM, and Operations), leveraging and optimising external stakeholder relationships, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring accountability across the Legal organisation. This role requires exceptional judgement and organisation, executive presence, analytical capability, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic partnership & leadership enablement

Serve as a trusted advisor to the CLO, helping shape priorities and ensuring alignment across the Legal leadership team. Design and manage the operating rhythm for Legal: leadership meetings, global team management, quarterly reviews, annual planning cycles, and cross-functional stakeholder cadences. Prepare executive briefings and decision-support materials (including board and committee materials, where relevant) to drive clarity and alignment. Anticipate risks, surface trade-offs, and support high-quality decisions for the CLO and Legal leadership.

Legal-wide execution & cross-functional leadership

Drive execution of Legal’s highest-priority initiatives (e.g., operating model changes, policy rollouts, tooling/process improvements), ensuring clear ownership, milestones, and measurable outcomes. Partner with functional leaders to remove blockers and maintain execution momentum on company priorities that require significant legal input. Lead or co-lead cross-functional projects requiring executive coordination and strong stakeholder management. Co-ordinate matter management and project discipline across the legal & compliance function, through implementation and continuous improvement of precedents, tooling, advisory panels, cross-functional governance controls and systemic reporting. Establish and track KPIs/OKRs aligned to Legal’s strategic objectives and provide visibility on progress and risks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
