Chief Operating Officer
Chief Operating Officer (COO) (Hybrid) – Los Angeles, CA
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Chief Operating Officer to join ONE/SIZE’s Executive Leadership Team as the company’s senior strategic integrator. The COO will transform corporate vision into operational excellence, driving alignment, efficiency, and sustainable growth across all critical functions.
This strategic and execution-focused leader will oversee Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, People & Culture, Technology, Business Systems, and Strategic Operations, ensuring the organization scales effectively while optimizing resources. You will partner closely with the President to: ✔ Deliver enterprise performance ✔ Strengthen organizational capabilities ✔ Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement ✔ Create the operational framework for long-term profitability and expansion
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in scaling high-growth consumer brands, with deep expertise in finance, operations, talent development, and cross-functional execution.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Structure
- Team: Reports directly to the President
- Scope: Overseeing Finance Operations, Supply Chain & Business Operations, Human Resources & People & Culture
Core Areas of Focus
1. Supply Chain & Operations
- Lead end-to-end supply chain management, including:
- Demand planning, forecasting, procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics
- Inventory and fulfillment optimization
- Customer operations alignment
- Develop scalable operational processes supporting growth while maximizing efficiency and profitability
- Product launch readiness, market expansion capability, and channel growth initiatives
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with:
- Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors
- Third-party logistics partnerships
- Drive continuous improvement in:
- Service levels
- Inventory productivity
- Risk management & business continuity
- Arm "Supply Chain & Operations, Finance, Human Resources & People & Culture, Business Systems & Technology, Strategic Operations, and Project Management"
2. Finance & Business Performance
- Oversee Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Audit & Compliance, and Financial Reporting
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Ensure disciplined financial management, working capital optimization, and profitability tracking
- Partner with the President and Executive Team on:
- Growth planning
- Capital allocation
- Strategic investments
- Develop executive performance dashboards for data-driven insights
- Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and governance standards
3. Human Resources & People & Culture
- Lead all HR functions, including:
- Recruiting (Talent Acquisition)
- Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits
- Learning & Development
- Organizational Design & Performance Management
- Build a high-performance culture grounded in:
- Accountability
- Collaboration
- Inclusion
- Continuous talent development
- Oversee:
- Succession planning
- Leadership development
- Employee engagement strategies
- Partner with finance and operations teams to drive talent strategies aligned with organizational goals

4. Business Systems & Technology
- Lead enterprise technology infrastructure and operational platforms, including:
- ERP systems
- AI tools
- Data governance frameworks
- Business intelligence & reporting systems
- Ensure systems scale with business growth while optimizing performance
5. Strategic Operations
- Lead enterprise-wide strategic planning & transformation initiatives
- Develop KPIs and organizational scorecards for measurable execution
- Drive:
- Cross-functional strategy alignment
- Market expansion programs
- Operational efficiency improvements
- Change management
- Organizational scalability
6. Project Management
- Oversee Enterprise-wide project execution, including:
- Strategic initiatives, product launches
- Systems Implementation (e.g., ERP migrations)
- Expansion projects
- Manage:
- Priorities and resource allocation
- Risk, dependencies, timelines, and performance reporting
- Facilitate executive project steering committees
7. Executive Operations
- Drive executive operational cadence, governance, and strategic planning processes
- Plan & manage annual operating cycles, executive offsites, and investments
- Support the President in board prep and investor communications
- Identify and resolve enterprise-wide execution bottlenecks
- Lead enterprise-wide initiatives on behalf of leadership
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimal Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field) – MBA strongly preferred
Professional Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive leadership with substantial executive responsibility
- Proven experience in:
- Scaling operations in high-growth consumer brands (CPG, beauty, fashion, or luxury)
- Finance (P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management)
- Supply chain optimization (sourcing, demand planning, logistics)
- Organizational development (changes, mergers, acquisitions)
Key Competencies: ✔ Strong financial acumen with a data-driven mindset ✔ Expertise in operational scalability and enterprise transformation ✔ Exceptional communicator with influence strategies for driving change ✔ Ability to build high-performing leadership teams and improve workplace culture ✔ Cross-functional leadership, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making under pressure
Physical & Work Requirements
- Hybrid role with occasional in-person visits in Culver City, CA
- PST timezone (West Coast preference)
- Reliable internet and workspace required to accommodate remote work
- Compliance reporting includes hygiene and security measures per company policy
