Chief Product Officer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Chief Product Officer based in United Kingdom.
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Product Officer to lead the next phase of product innovation and growth within a fast-scaling consumer health and wellness environment. This executive role will oversee product strategy, research and development, scientific affairs, and product commercialization initiatives. You will shape the future product portfolio, identify emerging market opportunities, and build systems that enable sustainable innovation at scale. Working in a fully remote and high-trust environment, you will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to transform ideas into market-leading products. This is a unique opportunity to drive significant business impact while building and leading high-performing teams dedicated to excellence and innovation.
Accountabilities
As Chief Product Officer, you will define and execute the long-term product vision, ensuring innovation efforts translate into commercial success and sustainable growth.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across product development, research and development, scientific affairs, regulatory functions, and quality initiatives.
- Define and execute the product innovation strategy, identifying new categories, ingredients, technologies, and consumer trends.
- Build and optimize scalable systems and processes that accelerate product development and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee the development of science-backed, compliant, and differentiated product formulations.
- Ensure quality, consistency, operational efficiency, and supply chain resilience throughout the product lifecycle.
- Partner with commercial, marketing, and operational teams to develop successful go-to-market strategies and maximize business impact.
- Drive a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement across product-related functions.
- Leverage emerging technologies and AI-driven approaches to accelerate innovation, improve formulation quality, and reduce time-to-market.

Requirements
You are an accomplished product executive with extensive experience leading innovation and product organizations within consumer goods, health, nutrition, or adjacent industries.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in product, research and development, or innovation functions.
- Minimum of 5 years leading large product or R&D organizations within supplements, functional foods, consumer packaged goods, or related sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling consumer products from concept through commercialization.
- Deep expertise in formulation science, ingredient sourcing, regulatory affairs, and product quality management.
- Strong experience building and leading cross-functional teams across product, science, quality, and development functions.
- Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to align product decisions with growth objectives, profitability, and brand strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to create scalable systems and processes that drive long-term organizational impact.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced and high-growth environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance innovation, speed, operational rigor, and business realities.
- Interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance product development and operational effectiveness.
