Chief Trade Finance Sales Officer

Location: Remote (Europe, Middle East, Asia Preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Department: Trade Finance & Business Development
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Built on EVM technology, the platform connects exporters, importers, financial institutions, and liquidity providers to bridge the global trade finance gap.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Head of Trade Finance Sales to lead global trade finance origination, client acquisition, lender onboarding, and liquidity partner development.

This role is responsible for driving transaction volumes on the SRC Ecosystem by acquiring exporters, importers, banks, non-bank lenders, institutional investors, and liquidity providers while building strategic financing partnerships across key international trade corridors.

The ideal candidate has an extensive network in global trade finance and a proven track record in originating trade finance transactions and raising institutional liquidity.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Finance Origination & Sales

  • Source and onboard exporters, importers, SMEs, corporates, and commodity traders seeking trade finance solutions.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of trade finance opportunities.
  • Structure and originate:
    • Receivables Finance
    • Invoice Financing
    • Purchase Order Financing
    • Supply Chain Finance
    • Inventory Financing
    • Distributor Finance
    • Structured Trade Finance
    • Cross-Border Payment and FX Solutions
    • Tokenized Trade Finance Opportunities.

Lender & Liquidity Acquisition

  • Lead the acquisition and onboarding of:
    • Banks
    • Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs)
    • Trade Finance Funds
    • Family Offices
    • Private Credit Funds
    • Institutional Investors
    • Alternative Lenders
    • Fintech Lenders
    • Liquidity Providers (LPs).
  • Build and maintain a global network of funding and liquidity partners.
  • Develop financing capacity to support trade assets originated on the platform.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements with funding partners.
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity is available to support transaction growth across the ecosystem.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop partnerships with:
    • Export Credit Agencies (ECAs)
    • Trade Associations
    • Chambers of Commerce
    • Logistics Companies
    • Insurance Providers
    • Trade Service Providers
    • Distribution Partners.
  • Expand the ecosystem's presence across major trade corridors.

Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth and transaction volumes across the platform.
  • Identify new markets and industry sectors.
  • Develop strategic go-to-market initiatives.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade missions, and industry events.
  • Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers globally.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to exporters and importers.
  • Understand clients' working capital challenges and financing requirements.
  • Structure customized financing solutions and coordinate execution with internal teams.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and funding partners.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
    • Product Team
    • Credit & Risk Team
    • Legal & Compliance
    • Operations Team
    • Technology Team
    • Investor Relations Team
  • to ensure efficient execution, onboarding, and scaling of trade finance activities.

  • Trade finance transaction volume originated.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in:
    • Trade Finance
    • Structured Trade Finance
    • Supply Chain Finance
    • Corporate Banking

    • Trade Finance Sales
    • Business Development.
  • Proven track record of originating trade finance transactions and securing funding partnerships.
  • Extensive network of:

    • Institutional Investors
    • Alternative Lenders
    • Family Offices
    • Liquidity Providers.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Documentary Trade
    • Open Account Trade

    • Trade Asset Distribution.
  • Experience in fintech, blockchain, tokenization, or digital trade platforms is highly desirable.
