CHIEF WAFFLE STOMPER
Full-time
London, UK

We need someone who can cut through the noise, stomp out the waffle and get to the good stuff. The Chief Waffle Stomper is the person who keeps our creative output sharp, punchy and free from fluff. You will work across every department to ensure our messaging, pitches and content are clear, compelling and on-brand. If you have a low tolerance for jargon and a talent for saying more with less, this is your dream role.
What You'll Do
- Review and refine all outgoing creative copy, decks and campaign messaging
- Work alongside strategists and creatives to distill complex ideas into clear, fan-first language
- Run internal workshops on concise communication and brand voice
- Act as the final quality gate on all client-facing materials
- Build and maintain the Fresh Movement tone of voice guide
- Challenge briefs that lack clarity and push teams toward sharper thinking
- Collaborate with the social team to keep captions tight and culturally relevant
- Support pitch teams with narrative structure and storytelling

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
