Job Opportunity: Licensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

Are you a licensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist interested in working with an international and culturally diverse client base? Mind a Porter is expanding its network of psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors, and psychotherapists across London. We welcome clinicians offering in-person and/or online consultations, with full professional fluency in English; any additional language is considered a plus.

  • Maintain your own private practice with the flexibility of an independent practitioner model, supported by structured referrals and full administrative and operational support
  • Flexible scheduling and full autonomy over your caseload, including the freedom to establish fees aligned with your private practice standards

  • Flexibility to work in-person at a London location of your choice or online. Ability to offer both in-person and online consultations is preferred
  • Collaboration within a professional multidisciplinary clinical network

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children and adolescents, both online and/or in-person, based on professional preference and availability
  • Offer medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up when clinically indicated
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other healthcare professionals where appropriate
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality, ethics, and professional psychiatric practice
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure continuity and integration of care

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • GMC registration with specialist training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Experience working with culturally diverse and international families strongly valued
  • Full professional fluency in English; fluency in a second language considered a plus
  • Commitment to ethical, confidential, and evidence-based care
  • Experience working across neurodevelopmental, emotional, and behavioural presentations in children and adolescents
