Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist

Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (CAMHS) – Argyll and Bute

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to contribute to both generic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and the development of new initiatives.

About the Role

We support children and young people (aged 0–18) and their carers/families, delivering specialised psychological assessments and interventions—often in multi-agency collaboration with partners.

Since we operate in Argyll and Bute, we are looking for high-calibre clinicians who prioritise:

Ideal Candidate

You’ll meet the following requirements:

  • Postgraduate doctoral (or equivalent) training in Clinical/Counselling Psychology
  • HCPC registration
  • Proven experience with children/youth with complex needs
  • Ideal: Additional expertise in eating disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, or trauma
