CHILD DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

25 hours per week, 40 weeks term time
Anniesland Campus, Temporary for 6 months
£21,196 including holiday pay (£31,975 FTE)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Development Officer to enhance the learning experience of the children within our Anniesland Campus nursery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide a high standard of care to children up to the age of five;
  • To provide nursery care for children in a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment;
  • To work as part of a team to deliver high quality education and care;
  • To ensure the welfare and safety of the children in your care;
  • To contribute toward the monitoring and development of the service; and
  • To plan and implement learning experiences in conjunction with nursery staff team and Nursery management

Requirements:

  • SCQF level 7 (HNC or equivalent) relevant qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
  • SSSC registration
  • Knowledge of the pre-5 curriculum
  • Experience and knowledge of collaborative working
  • Good communication skills
  • Child Development skills
  • ICT literate

Salary: £31,975 FTE
Location: Anniesland Campus - however, there may be a requirement for you to work in one of the other campuses from time to time
