Child Social Worker (Child Protection Team)
We are recruiting experienced Agency Social Workers to join our supportive Child Protection Team.
Position Details
- Cases transfer after the first hearing, meaning no ongoing court work
- Manageable caseloads with strong senior management support
- Dedicated support from our Partnership & Improvement Team
- Ongoing learning and development through our Workforce Development Team

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases
- Complete high-quality assessments and care planning
- Deliver effective safeguarding interventions
- Work closely with:
- Children

- Partner agencies
- Aim to achieve positive outcomes

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience in:
- Children’s Services
- Child Protection
- Safeguarding
- Excellent assessment and case management skills
- Right to work in the UK
