Childcare Assistant

The Den - Woolley Grange Hotel

Contract: Casual Worker Salary: £12.71 per hour plus service charge

Woolley Grange, part of Luxury Family Hotels, has just reopened its doors following a beautiful refurbishment. Join us as a Childcare Assistant and help shape the next chapter of this much-loved Wiltshire retreat.

Role Overview

As Childcare Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for our younger guests. From welcoming families with genuine warmth to ensuring every play interaction is delightful, you will embody our commitment to exceptional service and contribute to the magic that makes Woolley Grange a beloved destination for families seeking joy and relaxation.

Job Type: Casual Worker Agreement – Hours are offered to our casual workers in line with the demands of the business. Flexibility will be key, as shifts will vary and include some weekends.


Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering an exciting activity programme by creating, preparing, organising, and delivering a fun, safe, and stimulating activity programme tailored to children’s ages and interests.
  • Making longtime, unique memories through interactive play and creative activities, working collaboratively as a team.
  • Ensuring a safe and welcoming play environment, prioritising the needs of all children in your care and adhering to requests from parents and guardians.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred.
  • An Accredited childcare/playwork qualification (Level 2 or 3) is essential.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and creating positive experiences for families.
  • A Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and creative approach to organising activities.
