Childcare Setting Manager – Breakfast & After School Club
📍 Location: St Paul's C of E Junior School, Oxford Road, Wokingham, RG41 2YJ
💷 Pay: £13.80 per hour
📄 Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
🕒 Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Working Hours:
- Breakfast Club: 7:15am – 8:45am
- After School Club: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

At Junior Adventures Group (JAG), we're looking for an enthusiastic Childcare Setting Manager to lead our Breakfast & After School Club at St Paul's C of E Junior School.
This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a thriving wraparound care provision where every day is different. You'll lead a small team, build strong relationships with children, families and the school, and create a safe, welcoming environment where children aged 4–11 can play, learn and thrive.
Whether it's organising exciting sports, arts and crafts, team games, outdoor adventures or imaginative play, you'll help make every session memorable.
This is a split-shift role, working mornings and afternoons with a break in between—ideal for those looking for a role that fits around family life or other commitments. There are also opportunities to increase your hours by working in our Holiday Clubs and Lunchtime Clubs.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Breakfast & After School Club.
- Plan and deliver exciting, inclusive and engaging activities for children aged 4–11.
- Create a fun, safe and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and included.
- Lead, motivate and support your team to deliver outstanding childcare.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, school staff and colleagues.
- Manage registers, planning and day-to-day club administration.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage children's confidence, independence and wellbeing.
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and company policies are followed at all times.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about working with children.
- A confident and supportive leader who enjoys motivating others.
- Organised, reliable and able to manage a busy club environment.
- An excellent communicator who builds positive relationships.
- Creative, energetic and enthusiastic.
- Committed to delivering high-quality childcare.
Experience in childcare, education, playwork, sports coaching, youth work or a similar environment would be advantageous.

Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a similar role and some management experience
Compensation: GBP 13.80 - GBP 13.80 - monthly
