The Crieff Hydro Hotel Experience
Located in the heart of Scotland within a 900-acre estate in Perthshire, we’ve been a family holiday destination for 150 years.
Our 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self-catering lodges, 6 restaurants, and 60+ onsite activities—including a spa, leisure centre, horse-riding centre, and our thrilling Action Glen—ensure there’s something for everyone.
About The Role: Childcare Leader
At the Big Country childcare facility, you’ll design and lead engaging indoor and outdoor activities for children (ages 2–12) using our 900-acre estate as a playground. With an emphasis on playfulness and joy, your role ensures kids have an unforgettable, fun-filled holiday experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily sessions, supporting up to 140 children per day across three sessions, with rotating groups
- Create and facilitate creative, inclement-weather, and outdoor adventures—from sports to exploring Clan Castle
- Offer additional family entertainment opportunities throughout the day
- Work dynamically in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
Contract Details
- Flexible, zero-hours contract, with availability tailored to your schedule
- Note: Staff accommodation is not available for this role

While a formal qualificcation in childcare is desired, we’re equally impressed with:
