JOB TITLE: Childcare Solicitor
PQE: 5+ PQE
LOCATION: Northampton
SALARY: GBP 55K plus
Are you a Children Panel Accredited Solicitor looking for your next career move? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, Legal 500 recognised firm with an outstanding reputation in childcare law. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join its highly regarded team in Northampton.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of public and private children law matters, acting on behalf of children and providing expert advice and representation throughout proceedings. Matters will include:
- Care proceedings
- Emergency Protection Orders (EPOs)
- Special Guardianship Orders (SGOs)
- Private children law applications

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from Childcare Solicitors with:
- A minimum of 5 years PQE
- Children Panel Accreditation (essential or workings towards the qualification)
- Experience representing children in public law proceedings
- Strong advocacy and case management skills
- A compassionate, client-focused approach and excellent communication skills
