Job Opportunity: Children & Families Pastor
Do you love creating space where children and families can encounter Jesus? Are you someone who enjoys shaping ministry thoughtfully, prayerfully, and with imagination? If you’re energized by reaching families beyond the walls of the church, building relationships in the community, and developing new ways for children to grow in faith, this role offers an exciting opportunity.
We’re seeking a Children & Families Pastor to build on what God has already begun here – and to help shape what comes next. You’ll lead our Sunday group, nurture our midweek ministries, deepen our partnerships with local schools, and create welcoming spaces where children and families can grow in faith. Alongside this, you’ll have genuine room to develop new initiatives, explore fresh ideas, and help us imagine and establish the next chapter of our ministry. If you’re someone who enjoys building, shaping, and dreaming with others, this role gives you the space to do exactly that.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
