Children In Crisis Liaison Nurse

Do you have an interest for caring for children, young people and their families?

Do you have a specific passion for providing holistic care to Children in Crisis?

If so, then this is a fantastic opportunity for you.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our Children in Crisis Liaison team within the Paediatric department at UHCW.

We are looking to recruit a motivated registered nurse with experience in caring for Children in Crisis. The candidate must have effective communication skills to be able to foster efficient relationships with our Children and Young People in Crisis, alongside their families, whilst also providing support and education for our staff.

The successful candidate will provide liaison support as well as clinical and educational support for staff caring for our Children in Crisis across UHCW. The post holder in collaboration with the other Children in Crisis team members will play a major role in identifying and assessing the Professional Development needs of staff in relation to Children in Crisis and will be responsible for co-ordinating and participating in the delivery of appropriate training programmes.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
