Children Law Solicitor / Director (x4) - Nationwide | Hybrid Working | Excellent Career Progression

Are you a passionate Child Care Solicitor looking to join one of the UK's most highly regarded legal practices?

We are working exclusively with a nationally recognised, award-winning law firm that is expanding its specialist Child Care team and is seeking four Child Care Solicitors across the UK. Opportunities are available from Solicitor level through to Director level, making this an ideal move for ambitious lawyers seeking genuine career progression.

The Opportunity

You will handle a broad and rewarding caseload of Children Law matters, including:

  • Public and private law children cases
  • Care proceedings
  • Child protection matters
  • Special guardianship orders
  • Adoption cases
  • Child abduction matters
  • Advocacy, where appropriate

More senior candidates will also have the opportunity to:

  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and caseworkers
  • Support departmental growth and business development initiatives
  • Deliver training and technical guidance
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic objectives

Who they are looking for

They are keen to speak with Children Panel Accredited Solicitors; however, applications are equally welcomed from Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years' PQE who can demonstrate strong experience in Child Care Law and are looking to take the next step in their career.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years' PQE in Child Care Law
  • Experience managing a varied publicly funded childcare caseload
  • Strong client care and advocacy skills
  • The ability to work effectively with vulnerable clients
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A valid practising certificate

Children Panel Membership is highly desirable but not essential. For senior and Director-level appointments, previous supervisory or management experience would be advantageous.
