Registered Manager (Full-Time) – Children’s Residential Care

Location: swindon

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000+ DOE

Flexibility for some home working

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed Ofsted-registered EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) Children’s Home in Warrington.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with a proven track record of GOOD or OUTSTANDING outcomes who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and achieving exceptional results for young people.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare (completed)
  • Level 5 in Residential Childcare (completed or currently undertaking)
  • Minimum 1 year supervising care staff
  • Worked in children’s homes for 2 of the past 5 years
  • Already qualified and experienced as a Registered Manager
  • Proven track record of achieving GOOD or OUTSTANDING Ofsted ratings
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and regulatory understanding

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the home
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Standards
  • Provide effective leadership, supervision, and development of care staff
  • Manage safeguarding processes and risk management
  • Oversee care planning, placement matching, and young people’s progress
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, audits, and inspection readiness
  • Drive a positive culture focused on outcomes and therapeutic care
